Independence and you August 13, 2008

I live miles and seas away from my motherland and crib about not having a holiday on India’s Independence day and Republic Day. I dream about a long weekend, lazing around. Is that my patriotic spirit? Is that the way I see my nation’s hard-earned independence? I am ashamed of myself.
