Who do you think are the top 10 icons of modern India?

    Am unable to decide ! Each person has left an indelible mark in their own field. There are scores of others like Baba Amte who have worked relentlesly in the quiet frontyards of obscurity!

    I think i would vote for the citizens who plod on to excel in thier own spheres with no arc lights or media beckoning them. Just so that they did what they could & the world is a better place because they passed this way.

    I wonder if that helps!

    Thanks Kavi for your perspective. This is definitely a loaded question and needs quite some thought before answering. Am glad you thought it through. But given an opportunity, who would be your top 10? DO think about it and vote.

    I am from the Philippines and I have high regards for Indians. One reason for such is that India is the largest democracy in the world. It was just by coincidence that I came across with this blog. Keep it up!
